The cubensis cultivars Mush Love MI carries

Every dried mushroom on our shelf is Psilocybe cubensis, the most-studied and most-cultivated psilocybin species worldwide. Within cubensis the genetics fan out across roughly three potency tiers. Beginner-friendly cultivars — Golden Teacher, Hillbilly, Mazatapec, B+ and Treasure Coast — sit in the 0.6–1.0% total tryptamine range and produce a warm, reflective, teacher-archetype headspace that is forgiving of dose mistakes and ideal for first-time users. Intermediate cultivars like Shakti, Blue Meanies, Bluey Vuitton, Thai Koh Samui and Purple Mystic step the potency up by roughly 30–50% and add stronger visual geometry, deeper body load and a more pronounced emotional arc. How to dose dried magic mushrooms

Dried magic mushrooms are dosed by dry weight on a kitchen scale calibrated to 0.01 g. The community-consensus dose ladder for cubensis is roughly: microdose 0.05–0.25 g (sub-perceptual, daily wellness); museum dose 0.5–1.0 g (gentle, social-safe, no significant visuals); standard recreational 1.5–2.5 g (classic introspective trip, full visual palette); high recreational 2.5–3.5 g (sitter recommended, deep emotional content); and heroic 3.5 g+ (never solo, never first time, always with a trip-sitter). For Penis Envy, Albino A+ and other apex-potency cultivars multiply by roughly 0.5 — 1 g of Penis Envy lands at roughly the same intensity as 2 g of Golden Teacher. Always start at the bottom of the ladder for a strain you have never tried.

Eighths, quarters, halves and ounces

Mush Love MI prices dried fruit in the four standard cannabis-derived weight increments. An eighth (3.5 g) is the most-ordered size and the sweet spot for one to two single-person sessions of a beginner cultivar; eighths of Golden Teacher and Hillbilly start at $25, intermediate strains at $30, and advanced genetics in the $40–$50 range. A quarter (7 g) covers a group ceremony or a multi-week microdose stash for a single user. A half-ounce (14 g) is the bulk-discount sweet spot for established microdosers running 6+ months of capsule-style protocols. Storage and shelf life

Properly dried magic mushrooms (under 5% moisture) stored in an airtight glass jar with a food-grade desiccant, away from light and heat, retain potency for 12–24 months. Every Mush Love MI eighth, quarter, half and ounce ships with a desiccant pack in the jar. For storage beyond a year, vacuum-seal in mylar and refrigerate — do not freeze, as ice crystals damage psilocin and degrade potency. Heat above 70°C also degrades the active alkaloids, which is why we recommend steeping tea below boiling and infusing chocolate at temper temperature, not melting temperature.

Lab testing & quality control

Every batch in this collection is third-party assayed before it lists. Dried fruit is HPLC-tested for psilocybin and psilocin potency and ICP-MS screened for heavy metals; edibles, capsules and drink mixes are dose-verified to ±10% per unit; functional supplements (Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Turkey Tail) are tested for beta-glucan content and identity.
